I have totally forgotten how much fun college hockey is! The UMD-UM series up in Duluth was a blast! The match up was of two of the hottest teams in the country. Duluth hasn't lost since mid-December and the Gophers had only lost once in that same time span. So I really though that these games would've been really close. Wrong! The Bulldogs spanked the Gophers both games...6-1 and 4-1. This was the first time in UMD history they swept the season series with the Gophers, winning all four contests this year. This is probably the best skating team UMD has had in ten years. They'll be a force in the playoffs. I can't wait!

Yankees get A-Rod????.......come on! Just the Yankee's nine starting batters total $107.5M! Yikes.

But on a brighter note.....the man has returned to Chicago!!! Greg Maddux has signed with the Cubbies. I think this gives the Cubs the best starting rotation in baseball (sorry Astros fans). This combined with the signing of Kent Merker and LaTroy Hawkins should give us Cubs fans hope. Good pitching shuts down good hitting....you hear me Yankees fans!!!!!!!
