Alright!!!!! With a daily reminder from my wife I've decided to finally post. Too much has been going on lately. To recap....a few days after my last post we started looking for a house. Well, we found a townhouse that we liked the first day. Not wanting to rush on the first one we looked at, we proceeded to look at other ones, but kept on going back to the first one. So we looked at each other and said since we keep comparing all of them to the first one, why don't we just buy the first one. So we did. A two bedroom + loft, 1.5 bath, 2 car garage. And the kicker.....an unfinished basement that is also stubbed in for another 3/4 bath. We are going to finish the basement off into a den/man's room and add the the 3/4 bath. That should provide us with a nice downpayment on a house after a few years. These townhomes went up in value quite a bit since they were built. This one went up a lot even without any improvements, so I'm definately ready to start Bob Vila'ing. Neither of us has much experience in home improvements, but we are both eager to learn so I'm definately ready!!

My cousin and his fiance came to visit a couple of weeks ago. He asked me to be his best man in his wedding June 2005. We took them to the Mall of America. I think they were a bit overwhelmed by it! Then we went up to my mom and dad's house for a few days. Jason hadn't been up there in over 20 years so it was fun for him.

Some more big news.....Van Halen is touring with Sammy Hagar this summer!! They are coming to the Xcel Energy Center in July. Went over this morning for my tickets. Should be a good time. For those who don't know...VH is my all-time favorite band. Dave or Sammy I don't care which one....I love em both. (Don't mention Gary Cherone though or I might puke on my keyboard!!)

Have been busy since we closed on Monday. We've been bringing loads of boxes done to the house. We figured we would get as much as we could with our cars before we get a U-Haul for the furniture. We technically have until the end of May to move in, but obviously we want to get in sooner. We are going to change the color of a couple of rooms before we move in. We started taping the kitchen and will finish up taping the two bedrooms in the next day or so. Will keep people updated as we go.

I got three of the four final four teams right in our office pool at work. Bad thing was Kentucky was the team I had wrong. And to make matters worse, I had them getting to the finals. So I won't win any money. I would tie for third if UConn beats GT, but I would lose the tie breaker because of my pick %. Oh well.

UMD is back in the Frozen Four for the first time since 85! Definately has been a good time! The lost to the Gophers in the WCHA Final 5 tourney. But they were banged up. Luckily everbody came back for the NCAA tourney and they are firing on all cylinders now. The face Denver for a chance at the finals. Go Dogs!!

I promise, now that the house thing is kinda over with, I'll be posting more. My wife hasn't let me forget about it!
