Well, we are officially in our house. Thanks to some help from my best friend and his wife, we hauled the furniture down on Saturday. It was quite overwhelming so have all the stuff stacked up and not being able to move through the place. Well, slowly but surely the place is taking shape. Kristin is going to be gone from tomorrow until Saturday visiting Pat and Paige, so I think I'll have some projects to do. First will be fixing painting "oops's". Word of advice.....don't paint anything red. Very messy. After that, I'm going to arrange the loft. I'm really itching to hang stuff up right now because there is too much bare wallspace. Unfortunately, alot of my stuff won't get hung up until we finish the basement off, but I'm sure'll I find some things to put up! This Saturday, Pat and I will take our ritualistic trip to the Mall of America to battle at Nascar Silicon Speedway. Always a fun time.

FINALLY!!!! Crustoleum (my nickname for Rusty Wallace) finally got back into Victory Lane. Right now he is one of the hottest drivers in Nascar with a 2nd, 5th, and 1st in his past three races to vault him back into the top 10 in points. Side note.....I'm the new leader in our Nascar Pool, ending Kristin's unbelievable 44 race stay on the top of the standings. Amazing!

Bad news......(well to me it is!!) the Penguins lost the NHL Draft lottery. They had the best chance to win the lottery since they finished with the worst record in the league (even though they were the hottest team in the league over the last 20 games!). They will pick 2nd. Now why is this such a big deal.....first it was the Capitals that won the lottery. The Caps are one of my most hated teams in sports. Another reason, the consensus #1 pick, Alexander Ovechkin (yes I'm a hockey freak because I know who this kid is!!) is being touted at the best prospect to come around since Mario Lemieux. He would have been a perfect rebuilding block for the Pens. Oh well, the second best player is pretty good too. This is being touted as a two man draft with Ovechkin and Evgeny Malkin. So either way the Pens were going to be getting a good player.

And finally, UMD self destructed against Denver in the Frozen Four. Leading 3-1 in the third period, the gave up four straight to lose 5-3. Denver went on to win the title, but that doesn't matter to me!! GGGGRRRR!!
