I finally have a chance to spend my first entire weekend in our new house and what happens????? I get sick. This was probably the worst cold I've ever had in my life. It started Wednesday night with a sore throat, progressed to being stuffed up, coughing up some crud, and then to top it off....woke up Saturday morning with an earache!! We went to a movie Friday night (Mean Girls....fair) just so I could get out of the house. Bad mistake. While walking through a store before we went to the theater, my head felt like it was going to explode. This points directly to sinus infection, and considering that it's Monday and I'm still stuffed up, probably confirms that fact. Although nothing hurts or aches any more, I'm still all stuffed up. I'll give it a few days before I take the plunge and visit the doc.

We are about 97% organized. Pretty much just the office/loft remains, and thanks to Kristin that is almost done too. Kristin and her aunt Pam decorated the kitchen on Saturday with the Elvis/Coca Cola theme she has always wanted. At first I wondered how those two themes would work together, but it looks very nice. I told her it makes me jealous because I have all my sports stuff that I really can't put up until the basement is done. I can't wait!!

I'm becoming a regular and BOTH Home Depot and Menards. Kristin's uncle was right when he said once you own a home, they will come to know you by name!!!
