Well, my car has been officially put on notice!! One more repair job, and you're outta here. For the last five years +, i've been driving a 1995 Poniac Grand Prix. A very good car. Sharp looking and for the most part, reliable. Until now. Within the past 12 months, spent $125 to replace my blinker switch, $320 to replace my rear brakes, and now my engine is misfiring. Barely any power when I accelerate. Dropped it off at the repair shop. Basically was told since the "Check Engine" light didn't come on, that they would have to diagnose it themselves (at $80/hr mind you). Got a call from the shop at work and they said they were going to start with a fuel systems cleaning and replacing the fuel filter (which needed to be done anyway). I'm hoping that is all it needs. Kinda thought it might be the fuel pump, but I've had another car where the fuel pump went, and it didn't go when it went. It started, but would die once you hit the gas. My car will go, but just very sluggishly. Possibly a dirty injector or something. Hopefully. But I've decided that this is the last semi-major repair job that I'm going to fix. I was going to buy a truck this summer but decided to wait until next summmer when I'm done with grad school. But if I have another problem with my car, I'm going to buy one. Enough is enough.

Anyway, on to more exciting news....we got a dog! Madison is her name and she is the cutest little thing. She is 12 weeks old and is too smart for her own good. She can climb over gates, no matter how high they are. She has been bannished to the basement for the time being while we are at work. The first day we left her home we gated her into the kitchen. Well, she climbed over the gate that her paws could barely reach the top of and had free reign all over the house. Well, a chewed up visor and mask for Kristin's sleep machine later, she is now a resident of the basement. Even after that, she is still the cutest!!!

Getting ready for my 10 year class reunion and the visit from the NY Webbs at the same time. Where did the 10 years go? Seems like yesterday. I told one of my dad's friends that my 10 year was this year and he just looked at me in amazement, wondering where the time went. Yep, I'm no longer the 14 year old kid who was relegated to cleaning all the fish you guys used to catch in the summer!! Time sure flies....
