He shoots and scores!

Well....back to school today. I'm more depressed about that than going back to work for the first time in 17 days. I'm not sure if I will ever be able to JUST one weeks vacations anymore. Two weeks flew by pretty fast.

Spent a few days at home at the beginning. My batteries needed some serious recharging. I put the basement on hold due to a combination of car bills and just plan tiredness. Bought the PS2 game Metal Gear Solid 3. Very cool game.

Went up north for Christmas. Spent virtually the entire time up there driving back and forth to Duluth to see my mom. I don't know how dad did it almost every day for almost two months! Got to spend some time with Alex. He loved all his X-mas presents. Especially loved his "John Neer" tractor that grandma and grandpa bought him. He told everybody in the hospital that he got a "John Neer in a John Neer Box". Hilarious. Got to hook up with my cronies for an evening of festivities. Pretty low key but still fun. Mom is now in Eveleth, so that will be easier on my Dad. She's only 40 miles away now instead of 100.

I came home to spend a couple days at home before going down to my uncle's house in Iowa. Iowa was definately fun. Mike also had the week off so we definately had fun. The highlight was watching the Iowa-LSU football game. Last second touchdown bomb to win the game. I think that if we had been drinking during the game (it was Saturday late morning) that we would have been covered in beer! Good bowl season for me. All my teams won (FSU, Iowa, and MN) there bowls.

Was back to work yesterday. Nice pile of work waiting for me when I got in. Oh well. Start school tonight again. Speaking of school, I'm furious over the stupidest thing. I got my grades yesterday and I got an A and an A-. I'm pretty pissed about the A- for some reason. Any other time I would be thrilled with and A-, but my goal was 4.0 and now that is done. Anyway, I over it. Time to buckle up for some pretty intense classes coming up.
